Aid Cancer Treatment held its 2nd annual Bluebell Lunch this past November and once again, we as an organisation are immensely proud of the success of the day.
As usual the kindness and generosity of the Cork people has shone through, and we are all so grateful.
The funds raised will, as always, go toward the improvement of all facilities and services available for cancer patients and their families, in Cork University Hospital.
Entertainment for the event was again provided by the choir at St. Vincents who were joined by the international renowned baritone voice of Joe Corbett, and they were simply outstanding, and they quickly have become a staple of the event.
The entire A.C.T. committee as well as all of the volunteers who helped on the day would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters, both the individuals as well as local businesses who were so kind to donate to such a worthy cause.
We would also like to thank those who provided all the spot prizes for our raffle on the day.
A big thank you to Rochestown Park Hotel for not only sponsoring the event but also for accommodating us on the day.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic and too helpful for words.
