We would like to thank the management of Killeagh Community Centre who held a 24 hours music festival in November. There also was a bucket collection in Tesco Middleton in September after the event's launch date. The funds raised from the generosity of the public and community exceeded the expectations of everyone involved. These funds have been divided between Aid Cancer Treatment and Killeagh Community Hall and recently the organisers provided our representatives with a cheque for a staggering €7,000 Over 130 musicians provided 25 hours of music including a choir and a junior Chomaltas group from Youghal plus a junior violin group Thank you to all who contributed.
