Running for Aid Cancer Treatment
From Cork to Vancouver

We are incredibly grateful to be supported by a very special fundraiser taking place this year — all the way from Vancouver.

Caoimhe O’Sullivan is currently training for the BMO Vancouver Marathon in May, where she will be running in memory of her uncle Donal, and in support of her mum Déirdre, who is currently undergoing treatment. Both Donal and Déirdre received care through Cork University Hospital, with Donal spending time in the Glandore Centre, making ACT a charity very close to the family’s heart.

Since setting up her iDonate page just days ago, the response has been overwhelming, with an extraordinary level of support already shown. We are deeply thankful to everyone who has donated so far, and to Caoimhe for choosing to support ACT in such a meaningful way.

As she continues her training through the cold winter months in Vancouver, we will be cheering her on every step of the way and are so appreciative of the awareness and support she is helping to generate for Aid Cancer Treatment.

From everyone at ACT — thank you.
