Surface Guided Radiotherapy at The Glandore Centre
Surface Guided Radiotherapy at The Glandore Centre

The New Glandore Centre opened in Cork University Hospital for provision of treatment to cancer patients and Aid Cancer Treatment have purchased an exciting new radiotherapy treatment technique known as Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT) for the Glandore Centre. The SGRT technique will be used to treat patients without the need for permanent tattoos.

This technique will eliminate the use of tattoos which will have a very positive effect on patients and the Cork University Hospital is the first public hospital to introduce the technique.
